Save the date for the 2020 Institut Pasteur PhD graduation ceremony – Highlights of the 2019 ceremony

The Department of Education of the Institut Pasteur will be organizing the 8^th edition of the PhD graduation ceremony.

The ceremony will take place on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 3pm to celebrate the students who completed their PhD thesis during the 2019-2020 academic year.

A lecture will be given by the guest of honor Professor Emmanuelle Charpentier, Wolf Prize 2020 laureate and member of the Académie des Sciences.

Save the date in your agendas. All Institut Pasteur staff is invited to attend the ceremony that, depending on the health guidelines, might be held by videoconference. Further information will be communicated soon.

Highlights of the 2019 ceremony

Some pictures of the 2019 PhD graduation ceremony are now online on a special web page. You will find images of the lecture given by the guest speaker Professor Stefan W. Hell (Nobel laureate 2014 in Chemistry) and of the opening speeches by Institut Pasteur former Scientific Director Olivier Schwartz, the Director of the Education Department Monica Sala and the Vice-President for International Affairs Pierre-Marie Girard. You will also find pictures of the graduates from the parisian campus, the guest graduates from the Institut Pasteur International Network, and the artistic interludes held during the ceremony.
