Report on the general staff meeting on July 4

A general staff meeting was held on Tuesday, July 4. This event, organized by the senior management team, was attended by over 500 Institut Pasteur employees, either in person in the CIS auditorium or online via Teams.

As we near the summer break, after a first half of 2023 that was particularly eventful both in scientific terms and for the Institut Pasteur as a whole, this was an opportunity for Stewart Cole to recognize the collective efforts and work accomplished to date, and also to:

-    look back at the main achievements made in connection with the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan and take stock as we enter the final phase of the plan,

-    outline the current financial and budget situation at the Institut Pasteur,

-    present the three main priorities for 2023 (the Vaccinology and Immunotherapy Center (CVI), the capital campaign, and boosting the Institut Pasteur's profile).

At the end of the meeting, staff were treated to a musical performance and a chance to chat with colleagues as they left the auditorium. The Institut Pasteur group Billie and the... What!? added an upbeat flavor to the cocktail reception held after the event.
