Annual appraisals and career development reviews, sign up for training
The 2016 annual appraisals and professional development reviews will begin on July 1 and concern all Institut Pasteur staff. This year a brand new online tool will be used - the Career Development portal.
To help support staff in these appraisals, the Human Resources Department is introducing a series of training sessions which you can sign up to today:
- For all staff concerned
Several one-day "Successful annual appraisals and career development reviews" training sessions will be held on campus. There are still places available for the July 5 and 6 sessions. You have until June 20 to sign up by clicking here.
These appraisals are an important time as they give you a chance to discuss your achievements and voice your wishes or concerns. To get the most out of your appraisal don't hesitate to sign up for the training to be as best prepared as possible.
- For all managers, three additional training sessions are being run
1. To help conduct annual appraisals - provided for by law and now mandatory for all concerned - managers undergo an innovative online training program in the form of a serious game. On June 30, those staff concerned will receive a link to access the session (minimum time roughly 30 minutes).
2. In addition to this online solution, a ½ day instructor-led training session will be available to better grasp the important points of this new appraisal, and to transfer the scenarios simulated in the serious game to real situations. These sessions will be run on July 11, 12 and 13. You have until June 22 to sign up by clicking here.
3. Lastly, for more specific preparation in conducting annual appraisals a two-day training session is also available on September 5 and 6. Sign up before June 30 by clicking here.
