Sporting challenges to support the Institut Pasteur

In January 2016, the Institut Pasteur sports club (ASIP) opened a running section to carry on the marvelous efforts of the Institut Pasteur runners in the 2015 "20 km de Paris" road race during Pasteurdon week.

For their first race on Sunday May 29, 2016, 30 ASIP runners competed in the "20 km Paris-Saint-Germain-en-Laye" race. After a rainy start and the climb up Mont Valérien all members of the Institut Pasteur team made a fine finish. The team came 8th in the corporate challenge.

Further races are scheduled starting with the races in Versailles and Vincennes on June 19. There are also other challenges awaiting our runners whose efforts promote the values of the Institut Pasteur and research. 8 athletes have committed to run the 10k to be held in the 12e arrondissement, and 13 more have signed up to run the 8k «princess» race, and the 15k « royal » race, both to be held in the town of Versailles. Enrollment is now closed for these events, but stay tuned for other races soon to come!
