Join the course “Hearing: from mechanisms to restoration technologies (HeaR)”

Are you a Master's student, a young researcher, an engineer, or a hearing healthcare professional? Would you like to deepen your understanding of the auditory system and discover the latest technological advances in the field?

From October 20th to 31st, 2025, join the course “Hearing: from mechanisms to restoration technologies (HeaR)” at the Hearing Institute, a center of the Institut Pasteur!

Taught in English, the course will cover a wide range of topics including the functioning of the auditory system, acoustics, psychoacoustics, hearing pathologies, and therapies.

“These courses are extremely helpful for PhD students and post-docs who wish to learn about recent advances in our understanding of the auditory system and its pathologies. Year after year, students give us valuable feedback that enables us to continually improve the course content,” emphasize Brice Bathellier and Boris Gourévitch, researchers at the reConnect Institute at the Hearing Institute, a center of the Institut Pasteur.
