Lambert Wilson on a shoot at the Institut Pasteur for a new film set to be released in 2023

On June 6, the crew for the upcoming Emilie Deleuze movie, Cinq hectares – with Lambert Wilson in the lead role –, were filming on location at the Institut Pasteur campus.

In the film, French star Lambert Wilson plays a respected Institut Pasteur scientist who, ignoring the advice of his partner, employer and neighbor, decides to invest in a house in Maussac, in France's Limousin region, and then buy himself a tractor in an attempt to blend in with the neighbors.

On June 6, the film crew, alongside Lambert Wilson, shot several scenes in the Central Animal Facility and in the labs, corridors and offices of the Zebrafish Neurogenetics Unit led by Laure Bally-Cuif. Some members of the Institut Pasteur research team played extras in a research setting in which they felt very much at home! Olivier Schwartz, Head of the Virus and Immunity Unit, and artist Fabrice Hyber, who has close ties with the Institut Pasteur and has helped showcase its artistic dimensions, also took part in some scenes of the upcoming movie.

With the film not due to be released until 2023, why not check out the photos taken during the shoot on campus.
