Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
In the May 29 edition of the newsletter, we invited you to rise to a new challenge and create a bridge between remote and on-site Pasteurians – until we are all finally able to see each other again – as a way of further catalyzing the Institut Pasteur's efforts.
What's the challenge? We are asking all Institut Pasteur employees who want to take part to film themselves or get someone else to film them with a smartphone catching and throwing a ball of paper featuring words that you now all know by heart: "Let's keep in touch! #PasteuriansTogether." The videos will be collected and placed one after the other, creating a constant chain of throws and catches between us – both those on campus applying social distancing and hygiene measures, and those working from home.
There is still time to send us your best videos (by noon on June 26). We look forward to receiving them at the following address: gardonslelien@pasteur.fr.
The newsletter on Friday July 3 will feature an exclusive video montage!
Give free rein to your creativity and energy: crumple, uncrumple and throw!
A few practical tips for taking part:
All Institut Pasteur staff, whether at home or on campus, should produce a short smartphone video lasting no more than 8 seconds, in portrait format.
Depending on how you feel, you can choose to:
- catch the ball of paper, uncrumple it, read it, show it to the camera and throw it again
- catch the ball of paper, uncrumple it, read it and throw it again
You can catch and throw the ball of paper from right or left, top or bottom, or opposite you. It's up to you to choose whether you produce the video by yourself or with a colleague or a family member.
To make sure the writing on the paper is legible, please write the following message on two lines, in capitals, centered on the paper and with a black felt pen: "LET'S KEEP IN TOUCH! #PASTEURIANSTOGETHER."
