Scientific workshop for PhD students: "What you need to know to be a responsible researcher"

The Pasteur - Paris University International PhD Program (PPU) presents a workshop on “Ethics and Integrity in research”. This workshop, that is mandatory for the first-year PPU students, is open to all PhD students at the Institut Pasteur.

Students are highly encouraged to participate in this important component of training as a young scientist.

The workshop includes an afternoon of seminars on the responsible conduct of research: integrity and deontology; ethics in the use of animals in research, ethics when research involves Human (person, human biological samples, personal data).

The following weeks, the seminars are complemented with a series of three one-hour small group discussions led by junior scientists based on case studies describing a variety of situations encountered as a research scientist.

The workshop will be held this year on the afternoon of Monday, 12 June in the amphitheater Jacques Monod, at 3pm.
