Anniversary

This year, the Institut Pasteur is celebrating the centenary of the death of Elie Metchnikoff, a leading figure in the history of the Institut Pasteur and the scientist responsible for discovering phagocytosis and cell immunity. Elie Metchnikoff, laureate of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1908 for his work on immunity, was a visionary and genius who left a rich scientific legacy in several research fields including embryonic development, infectious diseases, gut flora and aging.

This Hands-on course is aimed at researchers that have produced NGS datasets and would like to learn how to get the most out of it.

Human resources

The Human Resources Department is continuing its efforts to streamline its structure and activities so that it will be better equipped to meet the needs of Institut Pasteur staff.

Pasteurdon

The Department of Communications and Fundraising recently organized a series of sessions to shoot this year's short films for Pasteurdon, as it did in 2015. The department invited all those interested to come along to the film set and play their part in introducing the general public to the day-to-day activities of Institut Pasteur scientists.

Sponsorship

For the fifth year in a row, the "Roulons solidaires" campaign organized in partnership with AG2R La Mondiale will be held on campus to clock up even more kilometers and raise money for the Institut Pasteur’s research.

Tomorrow, Saturday June 25, 2016, at 7pm, the TV premiere of the documentary Invasion moustiques, by Patrice Desenne and Frédéric Létang, will air on France 5.

Life outside the lab

Next Wednesday, June 29th  "Fête en musique" (celebration of music) will take place in modules 2 and 3, located under the Pasteur restaurant.
