Following the favorable opinions from the Scientific Council in October 2020 and the Board of Governors in February 2021, the Comparative Functional Genomics (Génomique fonctionnelle comparative) five-year group (G5) will be set up on July 1, 2021.

This five-year group will be affiliated with the Department of Genomes and Genetics and will be led by Camille Berthelot, tenured researcher at Inserm, from September 1, 2021. From July 1 to August 31, 2021, the five-year group will be directed on an interim basis by Eduardo Rocha, Director of the Genomes and Genetics Department.
