Reminder: take part in Pride March tomorrow

The Institut Pasteur will be officially taking part in the 2025 Paris Pride March on Saturday June 28, alongside the Imagine Institute, the Institut Curie, the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers and the Institut Cochin. 
 

Starting point: Rue de Rivoli, Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre metro station

 

Arrival time: 1pm, meet directly at the starting point, at the corner of rue du Rohan and rue de Rivoli

 

We would strongly encourage you to arrive on time: once the march has started it will be difficult to join the procession. 

Organizers and volunteers will be there to greet you. 

Schedule for the day: 

•    1pm: Arrival and assembly of the Pasteur section of the procession

•    1pm: Speeches by Inter-LGBT

•    1.30pm: Start of the march (we are positioned at the end of the procession, we will be leaving later than planned)

•    5pm (approx.): Arrival at Place de la Nation and start of the musical event on stage

You are of course free to leave the procession at any time during the day.   

Please note: 

•    Dehydration can cause you to feel ill during the march, so make sure you bring plenty of water, a hat, sun cream or other weather protection.

•    Goodies (flags, make-up, whistles, etc.) will be distributed on the day.

•    By wearing a T-shirt or any other item with the Institut Pasteur logo, you are officially representing our values of inclusion and respect. We are counting on you not to display or share hateful, discriminatory, stigmatizing or political messages. T-shirts are still available and will be freely distributed during Stapa Social Hour this Friday starting at 5 p.m. at The 25.

•    A dedicated workshop will be held during the StaPa Social Hour on Friday June 27 from 5pm for anyone wanting to make their own placard with a slogan! We will provide everything you need to make the placard, together with slogans proposed by the Queer Club and approved by the Institut Pasteur. For reasons of consistency, only these placards will be authorized if you are wearing anything with the Institut Pasteur logo. A sticker with the Institut Pasteur logo will be fixed to the back of these placards so that they can be easily recognized on the day.
