The Institut Pasteur management team is delighted to invite you to the upcoming town hall-style meeting on Thursday July 4 from 3 to 5pm in the CIS auditorium, where it will present the main priorities of the Institut Pasteur's strategic vision for 2030 and look back at our collective achievements over the past six months.
The first "Convergence" scientific meeting, an important milestone in the partnership between the Institut Pasteur and Université Paris Cité, took place on June 17 at the headquarters of Université Paris Cité (Odéon site).
For the past few years, warnings about the dangers of biting insects in spring have raised alarm bells in increasingly northerly regions. Over and above the irritation they cause, hematophagous insects and ticks represent a considerable health risk: in certain conditions, they are capable of hosting and transmitting viruses, parasites and bacteria, becoming disease "vectors."
Last Friday, the campus came alive with a packed program of festivities for World Music Day. Despite a rainy start to the summer, a huge number of you came along to enjoy the musical and cultural festivities, spend time together and indulge in some delicious culinary treats.
Throughout this Olympic summer season, the newsletter team is pleased to present some of the Institut Pasteur staff who are playing a special role in this global event – whether in their capacity as an Institut Pasteur staff member, a volunteer or a sports person.
