Christine Petit elected as a member of the US National Academy of Sciences

On May 3, Christine Petit, Head of the Genetics and Physiology of Hearing Unit, a member of the Institut Pasteur's Scientific Advisory Board, a Professor at the Collège de France, and a member of the french Academy of Sciences, was elected as a new member of the United States National Academy of Sciences at the 153rd annual meeting of the prestigious institution. Christine Petit will be in the Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience section.

The members of the National Academy of Sciences serve as national advisors in the areas of science, technology and medicine. They are elected in recognition of their achievements and the original nature of their research.
