Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Since January 2017, the Center for Translational Science has been running multidisciplinary Open Desk sessions every Thursday from 3.30 to 4.30pm. Each week you can come along and meet the directors of all the CRT structures (the Clinical and Technical Cores and human bioresources), as well as the Legal Affairs Department and the Ethics Unit.

Anyone leading research projects on human subjects (intervention research on humans and/or access to human data and/or samples) is welcome to contact the Open Desk (CRT-opendesk@pasteur.fr).
The aim of this initiative is to provide on-the-spot advice on:
ethical and regulatory procedures in line with the Jardé Law
the appropriate methodology for your research (e.g. the number of patients to include, etc.)
use of cutting-edge techniques
legal procedures for contracts that need to be drawn up
any other questions
Open Desk sessions can save you time and cut down on the number of meetings you need to arrange with the different units involved in research on humans. Following each Open Desk session, project leaders are given a project roadmap.
We would encourage project leaders to meet the Open Desk representatives as soon as possible after embarking on a new project.
