WOMEN AND SCIENCE

International Women's Rights Day: joining forces for gender equality

International Women's Rights Day, celebrated every year on March 8, is an opportunity to reaffirm Institut Pasteur's commitment to gender equality and to a work environment that guarantees diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) for all its employees on a daily basis.

To mark this occasion, Institut Pasteur, and in particular its new DEI department and the entire community of resource employee groups (ERGs), invites you to take part in various events on campus, aimed at better understanding and exchanging, but also debating and progressing on the theme of gender equality. Here's the program for a committed month of March!

March 8: Reserve your day!

Join us on March 8 in the CIS auditorium, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for an important event designed to unite our entire community around the contribution of Pasteurian women to the missions and influence of the Institut Pasteur. This event will also be accessible online via Zoom.
So make a date today for this internal event, which will be organized in two stages.

A morning dedicated to presenting Institut Pasteur's commitment to gender equality in science.

This morning session, which follows on from the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 11, will look at how to strengthen the place and contribution of women in science, and consider the levers and actions to be implemented. To enrich these discussions, committed guests will share their inspiring experiences.

An afternoon dedicated to the lives of Pasteurian women

The afternoon will broaden the discussions by presenting the careers of several Pasteur women, in science and in support of science. You'll be able to hear their inspiring accounts of their respective careers.
