6th edition of the "Single Cell Gene Expression and Beyond" course
The Single Cell Biomarkers (scBiomarkers) UTechS and HR Training Department are glad to announce the 6th edition of the "Single Cell Gene Expression and Beyond" course that will take place between June 27 and July 3, 2024.
The course aims at providing theoretical and hands-on training for all steps of single cell RNA profiling and spatial transcriptomics, from single-cell sample and library preparation to data analysis, using state-of-the-art technologies.
The program of the course includes:
1. Overview of technologies for single cell omics and fundamentals of NGS (0.5 days)
2. Separation of single cells by FACS (0.5 days)
3. Single cell RNA prep by droplet-based assays (10xGenomics) (0.5 days)
4. Preparation and quantification of single cell RNA-Seq libraries (1 day)
5. Introduction to microfluidics-based approaches for single cell profiling (0.5 days)
6. Basics of single cell transcriptome data analysis using state-of-the-art data analysis pipelines (2 days)
Registration fees are fully covered by the HR Skills Development Plan.
