2023 scientific conferences with the Institut Pasteur Conference Center

After a period of interruption and gradual resumption owing to the pandemic, the scientific conferences organized on campus by the Institut Pasteur Conference Center are back in full swing this year, with several highlights to look forward to:
 

•    Tribute to François Gros on April 25, 2023 in the Duclaux lecture hall

In tribute to François Gros, a scientific morning will be held on Tuesday April 25 in the Émile Duclaux lecture hall. The focus will be on RNA: mRNA splicing and translation with the recent insights into the ribosomal structure and inhibition by antibiotics, the role of RNA in transcription, RNA as guides for gene targeting in the CRISPR-Cas9 system, and RNA-based vaccines. There will also be presentations on myogenesis and neural stem cell differentiation.

In the afternoon, at the French Academy of Sciences, a half-day event open to the public will pay tribute to François Gros for his major contribution to the scientific organization of research in France and his national and international work at the Academy.

•    13th international conference "NMR: a tool for biology" from May 15 to 17, 2023 in the CIS
 
Organized jointly by the Institut Pasteur and Bruker Biospin, the 13th "NMR: a tool for biology" conference will be held from May 15 to 17, 2023 at the Institut Pasteur in Paris.

 

 

Internationally renowned experts in the use of NMR will come together to address key questions in biology.

•    Nanobodies 2023 from September 18 to 20, 2023 in the CIS

The Nanobodies 2023 meeting will be held from September 18 to 20, 2023 at the Institut Pasteur’s Conference Center (CIS) in Paris. It will be the 3rd meeting on Nanobodies after Nanobodies 2019 in Bonn and Nanobodies 2021 in Brussels.

This meeting dedicated to nanobodies will allow the scientific community to meet and share the latest advances in this fast-growing scientific field.

Organization: Gabriel Aymé, Sylvie Bay and Pierre Lafaye for the Institut Pasteur, and Selma Djender, Sandrine Moutel, Franck Perez and Chloé Sybillin for the Institut Curie.
