Launch of the "Certificate in Healthcare Entrepreneurship"

In partnership with ESCP, the Education Department is launching a new, high-level, international program designed for those individuals who want to launch and develop their own venture, manage innovative projects in a large or mid-sized company or play an active role as entrepreneur/intrapreneur in life sciences and health. The program aims to provide valuable insights into how to leverage the specific features and complexities of this truly unique sector.

The first session of the Certificate in Healthcare Entrepreneurship will be held from September 18 to December 18, 2023.

Twenty-five online courses are delivered by first-in-class international professionals, business leaders and professors from ESCP and the Institut Pasteur. A cross-disciplinary, extensive, and operational set of insights is provided during 5 synchronous registered webinars with renowned, international experts in their respective fields.

The target audience is PhDs, postdoctoral fellows, engineers, Life Scientists, physicians, veterinarians, and pharmacists from all over the world.

At the end of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Master the specific challenges of an entrepreneurial project and an innovation strategy dedicated to life sciences and health.

2. Lead an entrepreneurial initiative or design proposals to change the scope of an existing organization in the field of health innovation.

3. Understand who to contact, who to onboard, and when, in their business development cycle.

4. Properly formulate and communicate proposals intended to engage potential investors and all relevant stakeholders.

5. Determine the allocation of resources for the growth of a healthcare innovation project and manage performance in the development of their business venture.
