47th call for applications for the grant scheme run by the Pierre Ledoux–Jeunesse Internationale Foundation

These grants, co-funded by the Pierre Ledoux–Jeunesse Internationale Foundation and the Institut Pasteur's Department of International Affairs, were introduced to give students the opportunity to complete an internship in a Pasteur Network laboratory in a low- to medium-income country.

The Pierre Ledoux–Jeunesse Internationale Foundation, which operates under the aegis of the Fondation de France, is launching its 47th call for applications in collaboration with the Institut Pasteur. The aim of the scheme is to fund biomedical research internships at one of the Pasteur Network institutes for young French Master's and PhD students studying biology, medicine, pharmacy or veterinary science at a university or higher education institution.

The deadline for applications is March 31, 2023.

The grants are for 3 to 10 months and offer recipients the opportunity of complementing their professional training and personal development with field and laboratory experience in infectious or parasitic diseases in a developing country within the Pasteur Network.

Details of the application process and the internships, together with the application forms, are available on the following web page

The application forms (available online) should be completed in French and returned by post to the Pierre Ledoux–Jeunesse Internationale Foundation by March 31, 2023. Applications should be based on a project that has been approved by the internship supervisor at the host laboratory and the director of the institute.
