First "Vivons Vélo" event in aid of the Institut Pasteur on April 6, 2019

"Vivons Vélo", the sports-based fundraising program run by AG2R LA MONDIALE in aid of the Institut Pasteur, organizes regular bike rides for budding cyclists in around 15 towns and cities across France, including Paris. The first opportunity for you to hop on your bike and start clocking up the kilometers for the Institut Pasteur is just around the corner. AG2R LA MONDIALE will convert every kilometer cycled into donations. The target for 2019 is €100,000!

So on April 6, saddle up and head for the "Vivons Vélo" starting line. "Vivons Vélo" organized rides, free of charge and covering roughly 25km, are open to cyclists of all ages and supervised by instructors from the French Cycle Tourism Federation. In Paris, the starting line will be the forecourt of Jean Bouin Stadium, on Avenue du Général Sarrail in the 16th arrondissement.

Like last year, you can track your performances and see how much you have donated to the cause via the "Vivons Vélo" application. Available free of charge from the App Store and Google Play, the app has been improved this year with the addition of new community features. You can now set up or join a team to compete against others by completing tasks and taking part in quizzes, connect Vivons Vélo to other sports apps like Strava and Runtastic, and make use of the new chat function.

You can also choose your course according to your preferred distance, difficulty or type of ride (a circuit, a specific route or an event). Track your session with GPS, log your physical activity, record your results and share them on the Vivons Vélo social media platform.

On your bikes!
