Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Following on from the success of previous calls for proposals, and with the aim of developing their cooperation and strengthening their synergies, the Carnot Institute for Animal Health (ICSA) and the Pasteur Infectious Diseases (PMI) Carnot Institute are launching their third consecutive joint call for proposals in 2016 in the fields of (i) infectious diseases mediated by viruses, bacteria, parasites or prions, and (ii) dysbiosis of the gut microbiota (intestinal, respiratory, vaginal or cutaneous) and its impact on health (infectious and non-infectious diseases, inflammatory and metabolic diseases, etc.).
Projects proposed under this joint call should:
explore innovative and creative approaches, over and above the basic research conducted by the units involved, to help improve understanding and offer solutions for the management of health risks at the animal-human-ecosystems interface,
enable effective collaboration between ICSA and PMI and demonstrate strong synergy between the contributions from the partner teams.
It is hoped that the projects will lead to larger-scale partnerships in the future.
Length: 24 months
Maximum budget per project: €150,000 (including salary)
