The 2025 edition of the event will focus entirely on the international dimension of research, in a context dominated by an increasing risk of disease outbreaks and the growing impact of environmental and societal crises on public health. Research must continue to adapt, cooperate and innovate.

The 2025 event will look at the diseases that come under the agency's remit and will share the latest research advances and reflect on prospects in four areas:

•        Preparation and prevention,
•        Detection and control in view of the urgent challenges posed by emerging diseases,
•        Research in times of crisis
•        Innovation to transform diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

Yasmine Belkaid will give the closing address at the event, which explores themes that are of particular interest to the Institut Pasteur community.
