BIGPICTURE, DECIDER: Institut Pasteur involved in two large-scale projects in the field of artificial intelligence
Several Institut Pasteur teams have recently become involved in large-scale European and international projects in the field of artificial intelligence:
- BIGPICTURE: artificial intelligence for a European database of pathology images
The Institut Pasteur's Biological Image Analysis Unit is taking part in a new project selected by the EU's Innovative Medicines Initiative. The project, BIGPICTURE, aims to speed up the development of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine, especially in biomedical image analysis.

- DECIDER: artificial intelligence to improve diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer
The Institut Pasteur's Systems Biology Group is a partner in a new international project on applications of artificial intelligence (AI) for the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer. The project, entitled DECIDER, has been granted five-year funding by the European Union's Horizon 2020 program.
