Upcoming campus trainings

The HR training center in the Talent and Organization Development Department is running the following courses:

 

  • Introduction to the Python language for developers, with the training company Logilab – 2 days, in French

- The essential basics
- An introduction to Python, without going into detail on the concept of object-oriented programming, with the aim of enabling participants to write automation scripts and understand a program written by someone else
Dates: May 30-31, 2017

 

  • "Introduction to molecular biology", with the Institut Pasteur Education Center – 5 days, in French

- Theoretical and practical training
- The basics of molecular biology
- The principles of common techniques
- Basic IT analysis
Dates: May 29-June 2, 2017

 

  • "Introduction to FlowJo software" for cytometry – 1 day, in English

- Theoretical presentation in the morning
- Practical sessions in the afternoon (at the Institut Pasteur Education Center)
Date: June 8, 2017

 

  • Advanced BioNumerics training with the training company Applied Maths – 2 days, in French

- Whole genome sequencing and genotyping
- MALDI-TOF, wgMLST and wgSNP data analysis
Dates: July 6-7, 2017

 

  • Training with certification to perform surgery, with the training company Vetsalius and the Institut Pasteur Education Center – 3 days, in French

- Models for experimental surgery
- Organizing an experimental surgery laboratory
- Anesthesia and analgesia, monitoring, hemostasis
- Perioperative care
Dates: September 4-6, 2017 (possibility of practical sessions on September 7 and 8, 2017)

The costs of these courses are covered for Institut Pasteur staff under the Training Plan.
For external (OREX) staff, the costs of these courses are also covered by the Institut Pasteur, except for the experimental surgery course, which must be paid by their supervisory authority.

We would remind you that if you register for a training course, you must attend the entire course.
