Help with filling out the French tax return

Are you completing a French tax return for the first time? Are you a foreign national and looking for advice on how to complete your tax return?

We would remind you that the deadlines for filing your income tax return in France are:

 · for the paper version: May 22, 2023 at 23:59, as postmarked.

 · online: the date varies depending on your home département (June 8 2023 at 23:59 for the Greater Paris region) (click here to see the date)

Alongside the dedicated section on the topic in the HR FAQ, the Institut Pasteur, in partnership with Euraxess France,* has prepared an online space to help you fill in your income tax return in France and request exemption from income tax if you are a scientist on the basis of an international tax treaty.
