Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
On April 24, the Institut Pasteur received a visit from Othman Nasrou, Vice-President of the Greater Paris Region with responsibility for Youth, the Republican Promise, Career Guidance and Vocational Integration, Higher Education and Research.
The Greater Paris Region is a leading partner of the Institut Pasteur, especially in terms of funding (real estate and equipment) and support for innovation.
The visit began with a discussion on the Institut Pasteur's latest news and projects, including the project for a Vaccinology and Immunotherapy Center (CVI), for which the Region has expressed its support.
This was followed by a visit to the Darré-Borrel construction site to discuss the future research center on vector-borne diseases (CMTV), for which the Region is providing a significant financial contribution of €11.6 million as part of the State-Region Plan Contract (CPER).
The visit was brought to a close with a tour of the Diagnostic Test Innovation and Development Core Facility led by Thierry Rose, which is also funded in part by the Greater Paris Region. The facility played a particularly effective role throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and is recognized more broadly for its outbreak response preparedness with the development of innovative diagnostic tests in cooperation with research laboratories, national reference centers and industry.
You can find opportunities for funding from the Greater Paris Region via the Grant Finder tool, and the provisional timetables, updated each month, on the Grants Office website.
