• Creation of the Institut Pasteur Ethics Unit

The Institut Pasteur Ethics Unit was set up on May 1, 2016. It is directed by Virginie Pirard, who reports to the senior management team, and in operational terms it is part of the Medical Affairs and Public Health Department.

• Creation of the PIBnet entity

PIBnet (Pasteur International Bioresources Network) was set up on May 1, 2016. It is jointly directed by Françoise Dromer (for scientific aspects) and Odile Gelpi (for administrative matters), and for administrative purposes it is attached to the Medical Affairs and Public Health Department.

 

The following structures are attached to PIBnet:

- The Collaborative Microbiology Platform (P2M), an entity set up on the same date and directed by Vincent Enouf.

- The CNR Coordination Department, directed by Virginie Ponticelli at present and by Isabelle Cailleau from June 1, 2016.

• Organizational structure of the Center for Translational Science

The Center for Translational Science, directed by Stanislas Pol and Odile Gelpi, is attached to the organizational structure of the Medical Affairs and Public Health Department.

James Di Santo, Head of the Innate Immunity Unit, has been appointed Deputy Scientific Director of the Center for Translational Science.

 

The Center is responsible for the following activities:

- Clinical coordination services

- Biobanking and access to healthy volunteer cohorts

- Two technological platforms for translational research

- Scientific events that create links between the campus and external partners

- Support for the development of clinical research in the Institut Pasteur International Network

 

These activities are performed by the following entities:

- The Clinical Research Department (N. Jolly)

- The ICAReB Platform (M.-N. Ungeheur)

- The Center for Human Immunology (M. Hasan)

- The Cytometry Platform (S. Novault)

 

The Center also works closely with the Medical Center for clinical research activities.

This organizational structure will take effect from May 1, 2016.
