Upcoming "Start-up breakfast" session on May 17

The next Start-up breakfast will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 9:00 AM in the meeting room located on the 2nd floor of the Emile Duclaux building and via Microsoft Teams with Claire Biot as guest.

Dr.Claire Biot is a vice president of Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry, at Dassault Systèmes.

Claire Biot received an MSc in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris, France) and an MSc in Biological Sciences from the Watson School of Biological Sciences (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, NY, USA). She studied cancer immunology at Institut Pasteur, Paris and she got a Ph.D. in immunology in 2012. After her PhD, Claire worked at the French Ministry of Health as Head of Division, Health Products Pricing, and Reimbursement (2012-2015). In 2015, she joined Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) as Managing Director of the Health Products and Technologies Central Agency. This position allowed her to build a strong experience in health products development, manufacturing, procurement, and patient care. Claire joined Dassault Systèmes in March 2019. In 2020, she became Board Member at Mauna Kea Technologies, and most recently, in 2021, Claire received the title of Chevalier in the National Order of Merit.

Claire leads the Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry organization of Dassault Systèmes, which aims to provide Life Sciences companies with a scientific and business platform to imagine sustainable innovations capable of improving the patient or physician experience in the age of precision medicine.
