World Music Day: enjoy a festival atmosphere on campus on the afternoon of June 20!

On Friday June 20, from 11.30am onwards, a special event is being organized on campus exclusively for Institut Pasteur staff, to celebrate the arrival of summer and enjoy a fun and festive afternoon together.

The event will feature music, culture, dance, discovery, refreshments and good vibes! Don't miss this celebration with the Institut Pasteur community on June 20!

 
A festival for the whole campus community

On June 20, the senior management team, together with the Department of Communications and Public Affairs and the Human Resources Department, are delighted to offer all staff the opportunity to share a memorable afternoon together among colleagues, with a host of activities taking place on campus at 28 rue du Docteur Roux.* The event will showcase melodies, rhythm and movement to usher in the summer and help cement the team spirit that characterizes the Institut Pasteur community.

 
One festival – two stages – a wealth of talent

From 12 noon, come along to see the dance displays on the "upper stage" on campus, before heading down to the "lower stage" for an entire afternoon of music, until 8pm, with a packed program of performances and carefully chosen pieces prepared specially for you by your colleagues in La Pasteurale, the sports club and the choir.

 

A party atmosphere

Throughout this festive afternoon, there will be several food stands around the greenhouse, the CIS and the François Jacob building for you to sample a selection of sweet treats, classic favorites and exotic flavors while listening to the performances on stage.

 

 

A unique collective performance

On June 20, any staff interested can add their own creative input to the World Music Day event. No need to be a virtuoso or a dance expert – on June 20, simply let your artistic instincts take over as you choose whether to join the vocal, instrumental or dance group and take part in a surprise impromptu performance alongside the pieces prepared by the Institut Pasteur's music and sports clubs.

* Some roles on campus involve specific demands and requirements (on-call staff, reception staff, staff seeing patients, those dealing with deliveries of biological material and urgent samples) and a constant staff presence is needed. Staff members should organize their time in advance in consultation with their team leader and their colleagues so that everyone can make the most of the activities planned for the afternoon.
