Save the date for the Institut Pasteur 2019 PhD graduation ceremony – 2018 ceremony in pictures

Once again this year, the Institut Pasteur Department of Education will be holding a PhD graduation ceremony, as it has done every year since 2013.

The seventh edition of this event, for students who completed their PhD during the 2018-2019 academic year, will take place on Friday December 13, 2019, at 3pm.

A lecture will be given by guest of honor Professor Stefan W. Hell, winner of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

All Institut Pasteur staff are invited to attend the ceremony – make sure you save the date.

2018 ceremony in pictures

A special web page has been created for the 2018 ceremony, where you can access a video of the lecture by guest speaker Professor Serge Haroche, winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics, and browse photos of the highlights of the ceremony. You will find pictures of the introductory addresses by Institut Pasteur President Stewart Cole, Executive Director for Education Monica Sala and former Vice-President International Affairs Marc Jouan, together with snapshots of the guest PhD students from the Institut Pasteur International Network, the presentations and the moment the new doctors received their PhD diplomas, the artistic interludes and the reception held after the ceremony.
