Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
For the 2024 edition of the "Nuit Blanche" cultural event in Paris on June 1, the Pasteur Museum team are inviting the public to explore the contemporary art on campus, together with a scientist and a tour guide. Aï Nakano, a violinist at the Academy of the Paris Opera, will provide some musical interludes during this Art & Science tour.
The museum is also offering two exclusive tour dates for Institut Pasteur staff to give them an opportunity to enjoy this event. Emma Leprêtre, collection manager, will guide you through the Art & Science tour and introduce you to the new contemporary artworks on campus. These include four photographs by Patrick Rimond from his participation in the Organoid project in 2020, the Pasteur oil on canvas by Errό, on long-term loan from MAC/VAL – Val-de-Marne Contemporary Art Museum, and a plant-based creation by Fabrice Hyber, Medicalbody, near the greenhouse.

A new artwork at the Scientific Information Center (CIS)
The oil on canvas Pasteur, produced in 1979 by Guðmundur Guðmundsson, better known as Errό (1932-), was hung on a wall in the CIS on Wednesday May 22. This work from the MAC/VAL – Val-de-Marne Contemporary Art Museum collection will join the growing body of contemporary art on campus for the next three years.
