Book signing

Meet Annick Perrot and Maxime Schwartz as they sign copies of the book "Louis Pasteur le visionnaire"

On Monday June 11, from 10.30am to 2.30pm, Annick Perrot, honorary curator of the Institut Pasteur, and Maxime Schwartz, former President of the Institut Pasteur, will be signing copies of the book "Louis Pasteur le visionnaire". This event, organized in partnership with the bookshop La Cédille, will be held in the CIS hall.

Published to coincide with the "Pasteur, the experimenter" exhibition which is running at the Palais de la découverte until August 19, this official catalog looks back over the career of the eminent French scientist. Louis Pasteur was a pioneer in the field of microbiology whose achievements represent some of the 19th century's major milestones in biomedical science – his research gave rise to rabies vaccination and the pasteurization process. But what do we really know about Louis Pasteur, his life and career? How did his contemporaries react to his research and achievements?

This book, richly illustrated with archive documents and published by La Martinière, guides readers through the life and work of Louis Pasteur and offers a new perspective on the great scientist.

Come along and make the most of this opportunity to meet the authors!
