Useful information: FAQ on the PBRP, updated medical guidelines

  • COVID-19 measures and Progressive Business Resumption Plan for campus – Frequently asked questions

Following the announcement of a gradual easing of lockdown measures in France from May 11 (although the details, including specific geographical measures, have not yet been finalized), the Institut Pasteur is implementing a Progressive Business Resumption Plan (PBRP) on campus.

The plan is designed to allow for the gradual resumption of normal activity on campus in a way that protects the health and safety of all staff, while offering the flexibility to be adjusted at any time to reflect the development of the outbreak and new government guidelines.

To address the questions that this type of situation necessarily raises we have compiled an FAQ. This FAQ will be updated on a regular basis to answer your questions as much as possible.

If you have any new questions, please send them to your manager, who will contact the PBRP operational unit: cellule-PRPA@pasteur.fr

  • Update of the medical guidelines

Following the gradual resumption of activities on campus, an updated version of the medical guidelines has been published.

The list of conditions at risk drawn up by the French High Council for Public Health (HCSP) has been updated, as have the guidelines on what to do if you display characteristic symptoms of COVID-19 on campus.

• On weekdays, if you develop characteristic symptoms of COVID-19 when on campus, you should immediately self-isolate and notify your manager and colleagues, then call the Occupational Health Department on 3737 (from Monday to Friday). The Occupational Health Department will decide on the next steps to take depending on the severity of your symptoms.

• At the weekend, if you are on campus for exceptional reasons and you develop characteristic symptoms, you should return home (making sure you apply social distancing and hygiene measures). If the symptoms are serious (respiratory difficulties), you should call 15, then, depending on the guidance you have received, call 27 (Security Operations Center).

We would remind you that in general, if you need to come to campus at the weekend in connection with the resumption of activities, you should make sure that you comply with the regulations on weekly rest periods.
