World Music Day: an entire afternoon to gather together and enjoy fun activities on June 21

On Friday June 21, starting at 12 noon, the Institut Pasteur campus will be hosting a special event for all staff, featuring music, culture, refreshments and good vibes!

The senior management team, together with the Department of Communications and Public Affairs and the Human Resources Department, are offering all staff the opportunity to share a memorable afternoon together among colleagues and teams, with a host of activities taking place on campus at 28 rue du Docteur Roux. The event will use melodies, rhythm and movement to usher in the summer and help cement the team spirit that characterizes the Institut Pasteur community.

From 12 noon, come along and enjoy the artistic activities organized by La Pasteurale and the choir, as well as a range of sports activities put on by the ASIP, to mark World Music Day and showcase the talent of Institut Pasteur staff. The festivities will get started on the forecourt of the François Jacob building. The program that your colleagues have prepared for you will be soon available.

After these first performances, from 2pm onwards you can simply enjoy the rest of the afternoon strolling around campus with your colleagues, taking in the festive atmosphere as you make the most of the activities organized at various spots on campus.

Music, singing, theater, readings, screenings, artworks, food stands and more: keep an eye out for the detailed program of this special Institut Pasteur event, coming soon in a future issue of the newsletter!

* Some roles on campus involve specific demands and requirements (on-call staff, reception staff, staff seeing patients, those dealing with deliveries of biological material and urgent samples) and a constant staff presence is needed. Staff members should organize their time in advance in consultation with their team leader and their colleagues so that everyone can make the most of the activities planned for the afternoon.
