  • Appointment of two new members of the CETEA

Mathilde Dusseaux, Institut Pasteur (Human Disease Models core facility), has been appointed as a member of the Committee for Ethics in Animal Experimentation, "CETEA Institut Pasteur" CEEA 89, for three years as from May 22, 2024.

Arthur Humbert, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL – Center of PhenoGenomics, School of Life Sciences), has been appointed as a member of the Committee for Ethics in Animal Experimentation, "CETEA Institut Pasteur" CEEA 89, for three years as from May 22, 2024.

  • New Spleen, Parasites & Infections laboratory


The Spleen, Parasites & Infections (Rate, infections et parasites) laboratory will be set up on June 1, 2024 for a two-year period, which may be renewed once.

The laboratory, affiliated with the Department of Parasites and Insect Vectors, will be led by Pierre Buffet.

•    Extension of the Trypanosome Cell Biology Unit

Following the meeting of the Scientific Council in March 2024, the term of the Trypanosome Cell Biology Unit (024802), led by Philippe Bastin, has been extended to April 30, 2029, when it will come to the end of its second and final five-year term.

Following the meeting of the Scientific Council in March 2024, the term of the Virus and Immunity Unit (024921), led by Olivier Schwartz, has been extended to April 30, 2029, when it will come to the end of its second and final five-year term.

•    Extension of the Progressive Sensory Disorders, Pathophysiology and Therapy Unit

Following the meeting of the Scientific Council in March 2024, the term of the Progressive Sensory Disorders, Pathophysiology and Therapy Unit (024740), led by Aziz El Amraoui, has been extended to May 31, 2029, when it will come to the end of its second and final five-year term.
