International recognition for excellence in artificial intelligence: the PR[AI]RIE–PSAI project receives a €75 million grant

At a gathering of France's leading talents in artificial intelligence held at the Élysée Palace, French President Emmanual Macron, President of the French Republic, announced the results of the AI Cluster program, a flagship initiative introduced by the General Secretariat for Investment (SGPI) as part of the France 2030 strategy. The aim of the program is to strengthen artificial intelligence research and training clusters in France, with a total of €360 million in grants shared between the winning institutions. The Paris School of AI (PR[AI]RIE-PSAI) project, led by PSL University in partnership with Université Paris Cité, the CNRS, Inria and the Institut Pasteur, received €75 million, the highest grant awarded. PR[AI]RIE-PSAI will be launched in September 2025.
