2023 joint call for proposals between the Medical Department and the DARRI

Reminder: The Medical Department and the Technology Transfer and Industrial Partnership Department (DARRI) are launching an internal call for proposals to support innovative research programs that aim to improve access to human samples (ICAReB Biobank for the Institut Pasteur) and have a positive impact on public health through the discovery or validation of biomarkers or the identification of pathophysiological and/or therapeutic or prophylactic mechanisms.

Principal investigators may be internal Institut Pasteur staff (on the Paris campus) or external OREX staff linked to an Institut Pasteur research unit (partnership or hosting contracts, joint teams, IHU re-Connect & lnovAND, CIC Cochin Pasteur, CINP).

The projects should aim to:
•    establish new collaborations with clinicians involving the provision of preliminary data to the Institut Pasteur,
•    carry out seed/pilot/POC projects involving primary data with a view to responding to larger-scale internal or external calls for proposals, e.g. PTR, ANR (translational), INCa, PHRC, etc.,
•    launch new industrial partnerships after the project,
•    facilitate related clinical research.

Scope: diagnostics/prognostics, therapeutics, vaccines, precision medicine.

Deadline for the submission of proposals: 2pm on December 1, 2023
Results to PIs: first two weeks of January 2024
Grant amount/duration of projects: €50k over 12 months
