Reminder: Second Department of Technology Open Day on November 20: a great opportunity for research unit and core facility staff to meet

Following on from the success of the first Department of Technology Open Day on December 6, 2022, a second edition will be held on November 20, 2023 from 11am to 3pm in the CIS.

The event is organized by the Department of Technology in collaboration with the department directors.

From planning experiments to acquiring and analyzing data, the core facility teams can help you to successfully implement your research projects in seven technological fields:

•    Omics, proteomics, metabolomics and single-cell technology
•    Multi-scale imaging
•    Nanobody discovery, protein production, molecular biophysics and structural biology
•    Screening, microfluidics and organs-on-chips
•    In vivo research
•    Biological resources
•    Computer science and data processing

Come and meet the experts from the 35 core facilities in the Department of Technology, together with the teams from the Grants Office, the Technology Transfer and Industrial Partnership Department (DARRI), the Education Center and the Department for Scientific Programming and Incentive Actions (SPAIS), and find out about the latest innovations available on campus.

Last year, the Open Day was an opportunity for several PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, technicians, research engineers and laboratory scientists to connect with each other, find out more and discuss their specific needs with the engineers and technicians from the Department of Technology.

Don't miss this opportunity to meet experts from the 35 platforms in an informal setting, over coffee and dessert.

A technology platform "passport" will be given to you on arrival, enabling you to take part in a no-obligation game with a draw at 3pm.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2nd Technology Division Open Day on Monday November 20, between 11am and 3pm, in the CIS halls.
