INCEPTION Convergence Institute: 2020 annual meeting

The INCEPTION project was set up in response to the arrival of big data in biology. The aim is to create synergies between different areas of expertise (biology, medicine, IT, mathematics, statistics, physics and social sciences), paving the way for the development of innovative solutions that address the global challenge of disease emergence, for both populations and individuals.

In light of the current coronavirus epidemic, this vision developed in 2017 seems to have been remarkably prescient. Given the context, this year's INCEPTION annual meeting will focus on the COVID-19 pandemic. With the participation of scientists from a variety of backgrounds (including members of the national COVID-19 scientific committee), the meeting will be an opportunity to discuss how different scientific fields are contributing to our understanding of the current pandemic.

The meeting will take place remotely via Teams on Thursday November 26 from 1.30 to 5.30pm.
