Hilde De Reuse wins the 2017 Christoffel Plantin Prize

The Christoffel Plantin Prize has been awarded every year since 2011 to a Belgian citizen living abroad whose cultural, artistic or scientific achievements are particularly noteworthy and help contribute to Belgium's prestige and visibility abroad. In 2017, scientific fields were rewarded.

This year, the Christoffel Plantin Prize was awarded to Hilde De Reuse, Head of the Helicobacter Pathogenesis Unit and Director of the Institut Pasteur's Department of Microbiology.

Hilde De Reuse was presented with the award by Cathy Berx, Governor of the Province of Antwerp, on October 25.
