Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
To improve and facilitate the consideration of Pasteurians' IT security needs, the Information Systems Security (ISS) team has implemented a web application available to everyone in 2021.
This application has just been updated and brings many new features.
Security advisories module
As part of your activities, you certainly use certain IT products (software, applications, operating systems...). If they are managed by the IT department, these tools are updated for you. On the other hand, if you use products that you have installed yourself or that you maintain, you may be vulnerable to computer security vulnerabilities.
But how to keep up with vulnerabilities and efficiently fix them?
The ISS team offers you a tool to search for and automatically receive security advisories about the products you’re using. With just a few clicks, you can subscribe to all the products that are of interest to you (even in your personal life if you wish).
This tool is fed with data both by the French state services and by the Institut Pasteur's ISS team.
New features for the data classification tool
This tool allows you to get the security measures and marking rules to be implemented according to the type of data you handle. From now on, if you do not find your data among the proposed list, you can submit it directly in the application so that it is accessible to all.
Available in English
The application and all its contents are now available in both French and English. Just click on the desired language in the upper right corner:
Other improvements
• The application can now be accessed from the internet (VPN no longer needed)
• Bug fixes and technical improvements
