Training with the CIB on the CLC Main WorkBench software

In response to a request from some research units very satisfied by the CLC Main WorkBench software and given the number of licenses already used all over the campus, the DSI has acquired a site license.

If you question the possibilities of the software, if you wish to discover it or learn how to use it, please register at the dedicated hands-on workshop (40 seats) and come with your laptop. The workshop will be provided in English on Wednesday 9th December from 9:30 am to 4pm. Subjects such as working with annotations, alining sequences, visualizing Phylogenic trees and designing primers are included in the program.

The hands-on session will be followed by an hour of presentations of other softwares from CLC Bio such as CLC Genomics WorkBench which is already available on the Pasteur computing cluster.

To register, send an email to Sophie Créno. In response, you will receive the procedure to install and configure CLC Main WorkBench so that you will be able to start the hands-on session at 9:30 am on Wednesday.

After the workshop, if you want to use CLC Main WorkBench at the lab, the head of the your research unit will have to request a permanent access by sending an email to informatique@pasteur.fr. License usage will be charged 50 euros a year per user (more that 10 hours of use per year).
