"AI for Health" challenge: Institut Pasteur committed to promoting cooperation on health data
The Phoenix project was launched on the initiative of Medicen in 2021 and involves the Institut Pasteur, the pharmaceutical company Roche and Foch Hospital. The aim is to standardize data production and sharing practices so as to facilitate data usage and make it easier to set up partnerships.
The discussions held between the four institutions, accompanied by the consultancy firm Veltys, led to the publication of a White Paper entitled "Designing and rolling out platforms to facilitate and accelerate agreements on sharing healthcare data" in September 2022.
The "AI for Health 2022" challenge is the second stage in the project. It was launched by the Greater Paris Region, the Institut Pasteur, Foch Hospital, Medicen and Startup Inside at the "AI for Health" event on November 16, 2022, and is funded to the tune of €1 million.
