Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
In connection with the "Objectif Employeur Pro Vélo" (Becoming a Pro-Cycling Employer – OEPV) program, which the Institut Pasteur is engaged in via its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR/RSE) Department, Nathalie Duval (nathalie.duval@pasteur.fr) is now the cycling officer for the Institut Pasteur campus.
Her mission is to develop and promote cycling among staff in collaboration with the Real Estate and Technical Department, the Human Resources Department and the cycling section in the CSE, with the collaboration of the GreenTeam’s Mobility group.
The OEPV program in three points:
• The OEPV program is run by the French Federation of Bicycle Users (FUB). The aim is to support employers in developing a cycling culture.
• The program enables employers to provide pro-cycling equipment and services on its site for staff, customers and suppliers wishing to cycle to and from work and for business travel.
• Cycling is a key part of the mobility plan and the CSR approach, helping to address the major environmental challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. There is also high demand among staff and future recruits for cycling-friendly practices.
Training and risk prevention for cyclists are central to the OEPV program. That is why the CSR Department is running a survey with a view to developing its services. Please tell us your needs by completing the survey at this link.
Among various initiatives introduced under the OEPV program – which should lead to the award of the "Pro-Cycling Employer" label –, the CSR Department and the Real Estate and Technical Department are pleased to inform you that new hoops (12 spaces) have been installed in front of the Monod building (number 66) and racks (54 spaces) have been installed under the East shelter of the Fernbach building (number 68). These new facilities comply with the recommendations of the Federation of Bicycle Users. This brings the number of cycle parking spaces available on campus to 344, 175 of which are covered – a rise of 15% for the total number of spaces and 16% for covered spaces compared with July 2024.
