DIM ELICIT (Empowering Life Sciences with Innovative Technologies) is holding a closing event on Wednesday October 20, 2021, at the Pierre-Gilles-de-Gennes Institute for Microfluidics (IPGG). This is an opportunity to find out about the results of some of the major projects carried out as part of the program, with presentations given by pairs of biologists and technological experts, and to discuss innovative technologies in biology with the Greater Paris scientific community.
More information and online registration on the DIM ELICIT website (The event is free but prior registration is required)
The annual DIM ELICIT symposium will take place at the IPGG from 9.30am to 5pm and will also be live streamed on Zoom. Since space in the IPGG lecture hall is limited, seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and registration to attend the symposium in person will be closed as soon as the maximum occupancy has been reached.
A valid health pass and identity document will be required to enter the site. Because of the health restrictions, there will be no refreshments at the event.
Coordinated jointly by the Institut Pasteur (Jean-Christophe Olivo-Marin and Elodie Brient-Litzler) and the Pierre-Gilles-de-Gennes Institute for Microfluidics (IPGG, Patrick Tabeling), DIM ELICIT supports research teams in the Greater Paris region who design groundbreaking technologies or find new applications for them in biology, and especially biomedical research. Since it was set up in December 2016, DIM ELICIT has funded around 60 projects with high innovation potential involving more than 160 laboratories over the entire Greater Paris region and more than 20 industry partners.
DIM ELICIT encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together biologists and technology experts from three different scientific communities (microfluidics, biophotonics and waves, and image analysis). The aim of DIM
ELICIT is also to promote projects with a strong social and economic impact which may lead to start-ups or be of interest to industry partners.
