For the past 29 years, European Disability Employment Week (EDEW) has been an opportunity to raise awareness about disability and to emphasize the importance of inclusion and equal opportunities in the workplace. It is also a good time to review the various mechanisms introduced to facilitate disability inclusion at work, to discuss and share views and to learn and raise awareness about employment for disabled people. For the Institut Pasteur, this week is also the anniversary of the launch of our disability policy in November 2023, a key milestone in our commitment to improving inclusion on campus.
Today, Friday October 10, is World Mental Health Day, and the Institut Pasteur is reaffirming its commitment to a respectful, inclusive working environment. This topic will be addressed during European Disability Employment Week in November.
