Upcoming "Pasteur Medicine Quarter-Hour" session on rare kidney diseases

Every month, the Center for Translational Science runs a "Pasteur Medicine Quarter-Hour" session, where two doctors are invited to give a brief presentation to Institut Pasteur scientists on the diseases they are involved in treating. The doctors start by outlining one or more clinical cases, then provide a short description of the disease and conclude by looking at a series of unanswered questions that need to be addressed.

The next session will take place on Thursday October 17 at 5.30pm in the François Jacob auditorium. The topic will be rare kidney diseases.

Program:

  • Rare Renal Diseases with Rémi Salomon from Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital

  • Oculocerebrorenal syndrome (Lowe syndrome) : from basic research to new therapeutic avenues with Arnaud Echard from the Membrane Traffic and Cell Division Unit at the Institut Pasteur.
