Tackling antimicrobial resistance: lab visit by Brut. alongside scientists and the Institut Pasteur patrons
For this year's Pasteurdon, the Institut Pasteur has once again joined forces with Brut media to produce a video for the general public with the aim of boosting the impact and visibility of the campaign.
Antibiotic resistance, chemistry, novel molecules, drugs, our future health and antimicrobial strategies – these were just some of the topics that arose during the conversations between the Epigenetic Chemical Biology Unit, led by Paola Arimondo, and Institut Pasteur patrons Julia Vignali and Kad Merad during their visit to campus on September 28 (see the October 4 issue of the newsletter).
The meeting gave rise to a video report produced by Brut. media in which the scientists and visitors discussed the antimicrobial strategies used in the laboratory. The video contains touches of humor but also a determined effort to raise awareness about the challenges facing scientists in dealing with what is a growing public health concern. It has been available since October 10 via the Brut. social media pages. The video is a valuable addition to this 18th edition of Pasteurdon, echoing the words associated with this year's appeal: hope, dreams, adventures and memories!

Make sure you turn the TV on this evening!
At 8.30pm on Friday October 11, and throughout the weekend, each channel will then broadcast the Pasteurdon short program with its flagship presenter. This TV campaign, directed by Serge Khalfon, features the journalists and presenters representing each of the partner channels within their environment (studio, control room, dressing room, etc.) to highlight their commitment to research while offering a glimpse into their daily working environment.
These video sequences follow on from the radio messages that you will have heard on our partner stations since yesterday, Thursday October 10.
Remote controls at the ready – don't miss this year's Pasteurdon films.
