Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Take part in the activities organized for European Disability Employment Week (EDEW) from November 18 to 22. As in 2023, the Institut Pasteur will once again be involved in this annual initiative to raise awareness among the Institut Pasteur community of the need to improve inclusion for people with disabilities.
During the week of November 18, on the rue du Docteur Roux and Hearing Institute campuses, activities will be organized to raise awareness among the Institut Pasteur community, encourage dialog and discussion and present the progress made on the action plan adopted last year.
There will be information stands, opportunities for discussion, competitions and a film screening – plenty of possibilities to learn more and talk about challenges, initiatives and measures with members of the Disability Office.
Reaffirming our commitment
Last year, at EDEW 2023, the Institut Pasteur unveiled its disability action plan, marking an important stage in our inclusion strategy.
Since then, the Disability Office has continued to promote this crucial policy, working in close collaboration with the Department for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). This synergy, strengthened by the support of the HR teams and the Occupational Health and Prevention Department, has enabled us to make significant, concerted headway towards our inclusion goals. This year's EDEW will be an opportunity to review the progress made and present the next steps.

The full program for the week will be published soon. In the meantime, save the date for the week of November 18 to 22, 2024 and keep an eye out for the latest news. We hope lots of you will come along!
For the past 28 years, European Disability Employment Week (EDEW) has been an opportunity to raise awareness about disability and to emphasize the importance of inclusion and equal opportunities in the workplace. It is also a good time to review the various mechanisms introduced to facilitate disability inclusion at work, to discuss and share views and to learn and raise awareness about employment for disabled people. For the Institut Pasteur, this week is also the anniversary of the launch of our disability policy, a key milestone in our commitment to improving inclusion on campus.
