COVID-19 modeling: scenarios for autumn-winter 2021-2022

In a report dated October 4, 2021, scientists in the Mathematical Modeling of Infectious Diseases Unit at the Institut Pasteur used mathematical modeling to describe how the COVID-19 epidemic could develop over autumn-winter 2021-2022, based on various hypotheses as to what impact cooler temperatures and a possible relaxing of control measures and behavior may have on the spread of SARS-CoV-2, vaccine coverage and vaccine efficacy.
